Facebook Live Storytime schedule:
Enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, and more from home! Tune in with your kids and help maintain their early literacy skills.
Toddler Storytimes (18-36 months):
10 a.m on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
Preschool Storytimes (3-5 years):
11 a.m on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
Wee Read (birth-18 months):
10 a.m. Thursdays
2:30 p.m. Tuesdays
Family programs are designed for all ages to attend.These would include the Family Movie Nights and exhibits planned throughout the year.
Yoga Live@ the Library
Learn basic breathing and stress release techniques from a professional yoga instructor on Facebook Live.
Thursdays at 2 p.m.
Programs and events geared to elementary school age children plus toddlers and babies.
Programs and events for junior high and high school age kids. Regular events include gaming parties.
Senior Social Hour is for adults 55 years and older. Computer Classes are usually for adults 18 years and older.
GED Class Signup at the Central Library
Want to get your GED? Sign up for free GED classes at the Central Library. Fill out an interest form at any Garland Library or visit the Central Library during orientation/signup dates and times. Class dates and times will be announced at orientation.

WorkReady GED classes are offered through a co-sponsorship between the Garland Library System and the Dallas County Community College District.
ESL Class Signup at the North Garland Branch Library
Interested in learning English? Sign up for free ESL classes at the North Garland Branch Library. Fill out an interest form at any Garland Library or visit the North Garland Branch Library during orientation dates and times. Class dates and times will be announced at orientation.

Attendance at Garland Library programs or public spaces constitutes consent to be photographed and video recorded for use in print and/or electronic publicity for the Library, such as presentations, displays, newsletters, articles, library websites and other media. If you do not wish to be photographed or videotaped, please speak to the Library Staff member before the event.
